Visitor Letters ----- To Kevin, I'm sure you wiill ever read this, however i can not rest until i let you know: 1. You music with 3eb has been an inspiration to my life 2. You are by far one of the greatest musical composers ever, your guitar sings more than a person could 3. You will always be noted as one of the greatest guitarists. I know it sounds somewhat eccentric and i'm sure you've heard it all before. I am just another anxious fan to talk to you. Regardless, your music has served the test of time, and is still one of the most inspirational emotional sounds in my life. THanks a lot Kevin, i owe it to you. Nick ----- oh my gosh!!!!! you are the best guitar player of all time.... third eye blind is nothing with out you!!!! i don't know if you remember us but about 6 years ago we met at the foam shop in albany and you gave my cousin robert white a guitar and made up with mike dirnt when you were buying a card for my cousin to meet him becuz he got stabbed by some guys from a screwdriver and you meet us at the foam shop becuz you couldn't believe such a crime could happen in albany. you gave my cousin a guitar signed by all of you of third eye blind at the time!!!!! i guess what i am trying to say you have always been inspiration to me and not a day goes by i dont listen to your first cd of third eye blind and think your the greatest guiatarist since jimmy!!!! you held my daughter haley on your lap when she was 14 months old, now she is 7 1/2 and she totally remembers you..... she listens to your first cd and the blue cd everyday on the bus going to school and we used to live in the bay area (dublin to be eact) we moved, alomost 5 years to washington state and we miss you sooooo much... i doubt you will ever read this email but if by a miracle you do we still think you are the greatest guiatarist alive and wanted you to know..... we would love to get an autograph pic of you becuz you have been such an inspiration to us and one day i will send you the pic i took of you and haley at the foam shop!!!!! i, juliet have been in school to finish my degree to become a dental hygienist so you and your family will get free dental cleanings for life~!!! and i plan on playing can i graduate from your first album, when i do, graduate that is......... i don't know if you remember me but i drove up on you about 3 years ago when you were with your two dogs and you thought i was serving you with legal papers.(when your and third eye blind just broke up)..... i just want you to know we still are your biggest fans and are so grateful for the music you make and for meeting you sooo many years ago.... thanks for making such an impact in our life and we will always be here to be your #1 fans...... so if by miracle you ever read this please call us or send us a autograph pic of you.... p.s. i still have a recording of you on the radio promoting your new band bully 4 you, from the movie arsenic& lace........... see we truly are your fans..... kevin you are the best and wish you and your family the best...... our aunt laney lives at 826 curtis st in albany, she is robert white's mom the boy you gave the guitar at the foam shop.... so if by chance stop by and say hi they would love it.... thanks for listening and being you........ we love you.... juliet & haley :) ----- Kevin, when are you gonna come to Austin? I like your more calm hit material with good choruses the most though. Songs like, Chill, Afterglow, the writing on the wall, lucid dream, Painted, Surfacing sub, this life and say goodbye to all that..those tracks just does it for me more than the crazy hardrock songs from coming back from yesterday, I think you are only getting better and better...Love you man! It has always been your sounds on the axe that have moved me the most whether it be your work with Third Eye Blind or your recent work. Your debut with 3EB struck a deep vein in me and looking back (as I was about 15 when the record came out) it was the crazy tunings and your wild solos that literally almost brought me to tears sometimes, and still does. I will be seriously pissed if you don't make music until your hands fall off or you meet your maker. I'm with you as a fan until the end.
